100 Dragons is an award-winning independent motion picture production company with over a cumulative 20 of years of production experience. The newest branch of the company, 100 Dragons Media, launched in 2015 and quickly garnered production of short form with collaborators Andrew Pope (Laundry Day) Sean Bell (Tidal Lock), and documentary feature with award winning director Moze Mossanen (My Piece of the City [screening at TIFF Bell Lightbox and CBC TV’s Absolutely Toronto]). Recently, the company launched 9-episode short form series Hello (Again), created by Simu Liu & Nathalie Younglai, with partners CBC Gem, Bell Fund, CMF and Ontario Creates. It garnered awards at Series Fest in Denver, Colorado and nominations at Yorkton Film Festival and Seoul Webfest, including best dramedy and best editing.
Upcoming projects in development include feature film, 15 Kinds of Casual Sex written by Emily Weedon, which was selected for the WIFT-T NBC-Universal Development Incubator, the NSI-EAVE On Demand Access Program and awarded development funds from the Harold Greenburg Fund and Telefilm; Wild Willie with writer Nathalie Younglai which received financing through the Telefilm development stream. 100 Dragons’ focus is to cultivate & gather diverse people and inclusive ideas to create innovative programming for the worldwide marketplace.
